BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--No. 6 Washington (25-2) swept CSUB (6-16) in a softball doubleheader Mar. 22 at the Roadrunner Softball Complex.

The Huskies took game one 8-0. Washington pitchers Bryanan Walker and Kaitlin Ingelsby limited CSUB to two hits as Washington scored at least one run in five of the six innings that were played. Niki Williams went 3-for-3 with a home run to pace the Huskies.

Washington defeated CSUB 9-0 in the nightcap. Williams' four RBI's keyed Huskie scoring opportunities in the first, fourth, and fifth innings. Ashley Nahale (Jr., Fremont, Calif., Ohlone College) posted two of the three CSUB hits. Myshayla Fryer (Fr., San Diego, Calif., University HS) had the other hit in game two to go along with her double in the first game.

The Roadrunners host Fairfield Wednesday afternoon in a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m.
