"I am proud of how our team competed today," said CSUB head coach Greg McCall. "We played well throughout the first half and had a couple of chances to tie and take the lead. Maryland is an outstanding team. No. 1 (Laurin Mincy) really made some shots today that gave them the momentum. As we move forward, our team is beginning to understand what we need to do to be successful on both ends of the floor."
The Roadrunners take on the host, FIU, Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m. (PST).
