SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. ? Taking a short break from Pac-10 action, CSUB's wrestling team ran it's all-time win streak over San Francisco State to 30 with a 35-7 win Friday afternoon at the the Gators' Main Gymnasium.
The Roadrunners won the first six matches of the dual and finished with eight wins on the day, improving to 7-2 on the season.
Jeremy Doyle (149) and Daniel Atondo (165) racked up the points on their respective opponents, earning major decision victories, while Trevor Hall (157) pinned SFSU's Randy Aguirre at the 4:14 mark of his match.
At 174, Jason Points battled his way to a 4-2 decision over Marques Gales, while Riley Orozco, wrestling for the first time at 197, pulled away for an 11-4 decision over Arman Astadsharif.
Brandon Zoetewey (125) also picked up a win by decision while Troy Goodban (184) and Elijah Nacita (141) both won by forfeit.
The only CSUB losses of the day came in the heavyweight and 133 divisions. Ryan Bergman dropped a close 8-5 decision to Steve Franklin while Justin Durham would score 11 points, but gave up 23 to the Gators' Ben Lockett for the major decision loss.
The ?Runners remain in San Francisco Saturday, taking part in the 32nd Annual California Collegiates which begin at 9 a.m. on the San Francisco State Campus.
