MOSCOW, Calif. ? Junior midfielder Moriah Neville scored 2:33 into overtime as the CSUB women's soccer team picked up its second victory of the season with a 2?1 win over the University of Idaho Sunday afternoon in Moscow, Id.
Samantha David fed Neville above the penalty area and the sophomore from Highland High School buried her first goal of the season into the upper right corner to end the match. CSUB (2?4 overall) owned all the chances in the brief overtime period, taking two shots and putting one on goal before Neville's match?winner.
Jackie Torvestad gave the Roadrunners and early lead when she bounced a long free kick over the head of Vandal goalkeeper Anna Sandman in the 17th minute. Idaho (3?2) tied it 15 minutes later when Anna Edmonds outraced Roadrunner goalkeeper Nicole Padilla to a long pass from Britta Rustad and slipped in her second goal of the season.
Padilla otherwise played a solid match, making five saves, including three in the second half to keep the match even until Neville could end it. CSUB Head Coach
