Biography
2005: In a season in which freshmen played a huge role on the young Roadrunner squad, Moriah Neville arguably made the biggest offensive impact…was one of six players to see playing time in all 20 matches and started 19 of those…her 1,343 minutes played was sixth-highest on the team, which is a rarity for an offensive player in a Simon Tobin lineup…was third on the team with four goals and tied for second with three assists…first career goal was the game winner in CSUB’s 2-1 win over Cal State San Bernardino (09/14/05)…came right back and scored three days later against UC San Diego (09/20/05)…also scored goals in back-to-back matches later in the season in a 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay (10/14/05) and 2-1 loss to Cal State Dominguez Hills (10/19/05)…first career assist came early in the season in a 2-1 extra time loss to Seattle Pacific (09/12/05)… assisted goals in two of the final three matches of the season — both wins...was recognized as an honorable mention all-conference performer.
HIGHLAND HS: Neville was a four-year All-Southeast Yosemite League player at Highland HS…earned Player of the Year honors her senior year, helping the Scots to their first CIF Central Section title…scored 88 goals in her four seasons at Highland.
PERSONAL: Neville has not declared a major…her cousin, Melissa, was a four-year letterwinner at CSUB…parents are Brian and Desi Neville.
