DAVIS, Calif. -- The Cal State Bakersfield softball team's Tuesday doubleheader at UC Davis was suspended due to rain with the game tied at 0-0 in the sixth inning. No make up date has been announced and it is anticipated that the doubleheader will not be resumed.

If the first game is not resumed, it will go down as a scoreless tie for both teams.

The 'Runners return to action this weekend when they host a four-game series with Sonoma State. The series begins with a doubleheader Friday at the Roadrunner Softball Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
