2005: Redshirted in 2005.

High School: With a pair of veteran setters in front of her last season, Yesenia Lopez was able to redshirt as she adjusted to play at the collegiate level…could make an early impact if the Roadrunners utilize a 6–2 offense again in 2006…prepped at South Hills High School in West Covina where she played three seasons of varsity ball for the Huskies…was team and San Antonio League co–MVP as a senior in 2004…also earned team MVP and first team all–league honors as a junior…named to the Redlands all–tournament team and was the Ayala Tourney MVP in 2004…also played basketball at South Hills.

Personal: Yesenia is majoring in psychology at CSUB…parents, Juan and Virginia…answers to the nicknames “Y” and “Yes.”
