High School: After playing as a middle blocker in high school, look for Morgan Pettway to battle for playing time on the outside as a collegiate freshman…was a second team All–District 5A selection…played for the same club program (Tejas VBC) as fellow freshman Marisa Morton…also ran track at Fossil Ridge High School, winning the open 400 District 5A title.

Personal: Morgan plans to major in business administration at CSUB…career goal is to be a pharmaceutical representative…is a native of Birmingham, Ala.…parents are Charlotte and Kenneth Black.
