Biography

2018-19 (SENIOR): INDOOR: Played in all 30 matches while starting 28 times…played all but four sets on the year…led all `Runners and ranked 10th in the WAC with .276 hitting percentage, seventh-best in CSUB’s Division I single-season history…third on team in kills with 247 (2.09 per set) and service aces with 21…finished season with 110 total blocks, one behind teammate Brooke Boiseau and second-most in CSUB’s Division I history…100 block assists ranks third in CSUB’s single-season history…graduated with sixth-most block assists (148) and total blocks (160) in a CSUB Division I career…reset CSUB’s Division I single-match record with 10 blocks vs. Grand Canyon Nov. 10 before being named WAC Defensive Player of the Week…recorded season-high 15 kills at Grand Canyon Oct. 11…tallied double-double with 12 kills and 10 blocks vs. Grand Canyon Oct. 11…second on team with 13 double-digit kill matches…BEACH: Posted a 10-14 record, all as part of the No. 1 pair…exclusively paired with Briannah Mariner…helped Mariner defeat Sacramento State twice on the year and knocked off CSUN five times…went 2-1 at the Big West Tournament…earned Honorable Mention All-Big West…finished beach career with 21 wins, sixth-most in CSUB’s history…graduated as one of just six `Runner to post multiple double-digit victory seasons.

2017-18 (JUNIOR): Played in all 33 matches...finished the season with the 4th-most kills (235) and blocks (48) for CSUB...career-high 16 kills vs. Fresno State Sept. 12...key contributor to CSUB's WAC Tournament championship and NCAA berth...BEACH: Compiled an 11-15 record and played primarily at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions...11 victories on the season tie for 10th in CSUB history...teamed with Emily Lopes to lead the team in wins...opened season at No. 2 position and beat Vanguard on February 28...went 4-1 against CSUN over the course of the season, going 2-1 at No. 3 and 2-0 at No. 4, including a 21-14, 21-17 over the Matadors in the Big West Tournament...also picked up victories against Sacramento State, Cal State LA and Missouri State and New Mexico. 

2015-16 (FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE):  A member of the Wyoming indoor volleyball team from 2015-16...appeared in 36 matches for the Cowgirls...recorded a total of 143 kills and 25 blocks during career...joins the CSUB volleyball program in time for the beach season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Douglas County High School...coach was Valerie Elliot...named All-State as a senior after recording 328 kills, 229 digs, and 23 blocks...a two-time first team All-Conference selection...earned second team All-Conference honors as a freshman...a Scholar-Athlete throughout her high school career...played club volleyball for the Colorado Volleyball Association which qualified for the Junior National Team in 2011 and 2012...club team won a silver medal at the Junior Nationals and the Big South Qualifier in 2013, along with the Crossroads Qualifier in 2014.

PERSONAL: Born Apr. 5, 1977...daughter of Bryan and Carolyn DeGarmo...a business management major.
