Molly O'Hagan begins her fourth season as a member of the coaching staff at CSU Bakersfield in fall of 2019. She works with both the indoor team during the fall and with the CSUB beach volleyball program in the spring. O'Hagan was named an Assistant Coach after serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach for her first three years on the staff.
Already a Western Athletic Conference Tournament Champion from her days as a Roadrunner student-athlete, O'Hagan was a part of the coaching staff that guided the CSUB indoor volleyball team to the WAC Tournament title in 2017. She has also been instrumental in guiding Bakersfield’s middle blockers, who have reset CSUB’s Division I single-season records for total blocks each of the past two seasons.
O'Hagan graduated from CSUB in 2015 after helping lead the 'Runners to the 2014 WAC Tournament title and an appearance in the 2014 NCAA Tournament. She was named WAC Tournament MVP in 2014 after earning First Team All-Conference honors. The former middle blocker reset Bakersfield's Division I career records for block solos, block assists, and total blocks and she is also ranked in CSUB’s Top 5 all-time in the latter two categories.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies at CSUB, O'Hagan spent 2015 playing professional volleyball in Germany for VC Nienburg. In 2019, she earned a master’s degree in pubic administration from CSUB as well.
O’Hagan is a native of Tonganoxie, Kan.
