Bakersfield College: Brookey Holmes joins the ’Runners after playing for former CSUB Head Coach Carl Ferreira at Bakersfield College the past two seasons…helped BC compile a 39–12 record over the last two seasons…led the Renegades to the Western State Conference title in 2009, earning first team All–WSC honors along the way…finished among the WSC leaders in several categories, including top 10 finishes in kills (3^rd , 194), aces (8^th , 26) and digs (9^th , 205)…finished her sophomore season hitting .287 while averaging 3.5 digs per set…named the Renegades’ team MVP for 2009

High School: Brookey led Centennial High School to the CIF Central Section Division III title as a senior in 2008, recording 18 kills in the championship match against cross town rival Liberty…led the Golden Hawks with 270 kills and finished second with 61 aces as a senior…was a three–time All–Southwest Yosemite League selection and a two–time Bakersfield Californian All–Area pick…twice named Centennial’s team MVP.

Personal: Brookey plans to major in business administration at CSUB…earned her associates degree in general studies at BC.
