Fabian Sandoval begins his first year with the Roadrunners women’s soccer team in the fall of 2007.

Most recently, Sandoval was the head boys coach at East Bakersfield High School, leading the squad to the Valley Championships in 2006. Prior to his one-year stint at East Bakersfield, he was the head coach boys at Ridgeview High School from 1999-2005. He has also coached boys and girls club soccer with the Bakersfield Gunners and the Bakersfield Brigade.

Sandoval was a member of the men’s soccer squad at CSUB from 1999-2002 and ranks No. 4 in career matches started (71), No. 9 in career minutes played (6,160) and No. 9 in career appearances (79) and No. 20 in career goals (12).

Sandoval graduated from CSUB with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in Chicano Studies in 2003.

He played for the San Diego Gauchos of the USL Pro Select League from 2002-03, for the Bakersfield Brigade of the Premier Development League in 2005 and the Miami FC of the United Soccer League First Division in 2006.
