2022 (FRESHMAN): Played in seven games, started two…played a total of 155 minutes…Made first career start vs UC Riverside in 1-1 draw.
PRIOR TO CSUB: Asma Merzougui spent the last two years playing with United States Youth Futsal (2020) and the Canadian National team (2021)...Merzougui is no stranger to success on the pitch having earned championships in both leagues out of high school.
HIGH SCHOOL: Vanier High School is where Merzougui graduated from in 2019...Not only was she a standout soccer player for the Cheetahs, but Merzougui was also on the flag football, swimming, gymnastics, and basketball teams...She was a 500m gold medalist in freestyle and earned MVP while playing flag football.
