2010 (FRESHMAN): Made seven appearances for the ‘Runners in 2010, all in relief…played in 54 minutes, including a season-high 14 minutes against UT-Martin.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year varsity player for the Indians at Fullerton High School...as a junior, she helped lead her team to the CIF Southern Section semifinals...during her sophomore season, she was voted her team’s Most Inspirational Player...a track/cross country standout, Valdez set school records in the two mile (13:02) and the three mile (19:20)...maintained a strong academic record, ranking in the top 100 of her class with a 3.5 GPA while earning English and honors physics Student of the Month awards...played club soccer for the Fullerton Rangers.
PERSONAL: Born Aug. 28, 1992...daughter of Francisca Lopes...a nursing major.
