Biography
2009–10: Tamiko Davis led the team in rebounding with 7.6 rebounds per game...one of four players to start all 29 games...grabbed double–digit rebound totals 11 times...tied for the team–high with six double–doubles; Utah Valley (12–9–09), USC (12–20–09), Seattle (1–16–10), Pacific (1–20–10), UC Irvine (2–6–10), Seattle (2–20–10)...reached double–figure point totals eight times...blocked a team–best 32 shots...season–high 19 points and three steals against Utah Valley (12–9–09)...grabbed 15 rebounds at UC Irvine (2–6–10)...recorded four blocked shots against Seattle (1–16–10), Oregon State (2–2–10), UC Irvine (2–6–10) and Cal State Fullerton (2–17–10)...had a three–game stretch where she averaged 10.3 points and 11.7 rebounds per game (1–16/20–10).
2008–09: Davis sat out this season due to NCAA transfer rules...has two seasons of eligiblity remaining.
San Jose State: Davis started 15 games while appearing in 52 contests during two seasons at San Jose State…averaged 2.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest...pulled down a team–best seven boards against the Roadrunners in a Dec. 6, 2007 contest.
Sacramento HS: Davis helped lead Sacramento High School to the CIF Division III State Championship game during her senior season…was named first team All–Capitol League and was a Sacramento Bee all–metro honorable mention…participated in the Sac vs. Bay All–Star game as a senior.
Personal: Davis is an English major at CSUB with a minor in sociology…hopes to teach high school English after graduation…also lettered in track and volleyball in high school.
