Biography
Last Season: Versatile forward Rhondi Naff proved to be a significant cog in the Roadrunner machine of 2006, playing in all 29 games and starting 14…scored in double figures 10 times while shooting a sizzling 58 percent (95-of-163) from the floor…season–high 16 points came in a win over Grand Canyon (12–10–05)… came off the bench to score a team–high 15 points in 23 minutes while leading the Roarun-ners to a come-from-behind at San Bernardino (2–3–06)…had 14 points and a season–high nine rebounds at Cal State L.A. (2–22–06)…is an underrated three–point shooter who made 5-of-9 attempts as a junior.
Orange Coast College: Naff earned second team all–state honors as a sophomore after finishing among the state leaders in scoring (16.2 points per game), field goal percentage (.454) and free throw percentage (.725)…averaged 10.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game as a freshman.
High School: Naff made her name as one of the state’s top prep scorers during her three–year career at Costa Mesa High School…was a two–time team MVP and a first team All–Golden West League selection as a senior…tied the Mustang record for points in one game with 38 as a senior…also ran track for the Mustangs as part of the school’s GWL record–setting 4x400 relay team.
Personal: Naff majors in business administration at CSUB…has worked as a basketball official.
