Biography
Last Season: Redshirt in 2006.
High School: Leesa Barnes will be the third Roadrunner in the brief six–year history of the program to hail from tiny Apple Valley High School when she steps onto the floor for the first time…runs the floor well for a post player and could see time at both interior positions…averaged 10.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game as a prep senior, with high games of 18 points and 15 rebounds…was a two–time All–Mojave River League selection, who led the Sun Devils to MRL titles and CIF Southern Section Quarterfinal appearances in 2003 and 2004…named AVHS’s defensive MVP as a senior.
Personal: Barnes has not declared a major at CSUB…plans a career in restaurant management…also played volleyball in high school…is the tallest player on the 2005–06 roster.
