Jason Hardy enters his first year at Cal State Bakersfield in Fall of 2024. He serves the Roadrunner women’s basketball team as an assistant coach.
Hardy came to Bakersfield with several years of experience as a basketball coach and instructor. He also spent the 2023-24 season as a graduate assistant with the University of Toledo women’s basketball team.
During his time with the Rockets, Hardy doubled down as a Player Development teacher, working hand in hand with CourtSessions Basketball. Since 2021, he had the opportunity to mentor players, teams and coaches using classroom and on-court lessons. For more than two years prior to that, Hardy was an Instructor for Point Guard College, guiding young athletes to become better players.
Hardy is currently earning a master’s degree in Advanced Educational Psychology from the University of Toledo, providing him with unique insight into the minds of student-athletes. He previously graduated from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in exercise sport & health science.
