Biography

2015-16 (SENIOR): Led the WAC and was 18th in Division I in in free throw shooting (86.9, 93-107). She made 29 consecutive free throws from Dec. 12-22...was second in league in assists at 4.7 and is 65th in Division I in the category...was second in the WAC inassist-to-turnover ratio (1.8) and is 84th in D-1 in the category...was fourth in the conference in steals (1.8), and 16th in scoring. She leads the WAC in minutes played per game (35.4).

The 5-2 point guard recorded seven assists against UTRGV Feb. 20 to move into second in school history She ended her career with 409 assists, the 39th most among active Division I players in career assists in 2016.

Shannon played in her 100th career game against Pepperdine and is only one of 10 CSUB players to play in at least 100 games (122) with the Roadrunners. She finished her career second in games played at CSUB with 122.

Shannon was named Western Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 28 through Jan. 3. This was the third time in Shannon’s career she has been named WAC Player of the Week

2014-15 (JUNIOR): A 2015 second team All-Conference and was selected to the 2015 WAC All-Defensive team...a two-time WAC Player of the Week selection...reset the CSUB Division I school record for most assists in a season with 142...was 76th in Division I in assists per game and 87th in D-1 in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.71)...finished second on the team in scoring (10.1)...in WAC only games, led the WAC in three-point shooting (.486), was second in assists (3.93), third in free throw percentage (.789), fifth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.34), sixth in steals (1.71), and sixth in minutes played (34.5).

2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Team leader in assists with 85 and is tied for the team lead in steals (42) with Tyonna Outland...scored career high 20 points...charted a career high 20 points against Fresno Pacific Dec. 30...shot 6-of-8 from the field, 4-of-5 from three-point range against the Sunbirds...scored 15 points, the second highest total of her career at Grand Canyon Jan. 9...had streak of 17 straight made free throws ended at GCU (went 4-for-5)...took a career high 14 shots at Grand Canyon...nearly turned in a double-double with 12 points and a career high nine assists against Grand Canyon Feb. 8...played a career high 38 mintues against Grand Canyon...had a streak of 15 consecutive free throws broken at New Mexico State Mar. 1.

2012-13 (FRESHMAN):
Played in 28 of the 29 games...started on seven occasions...scored a season high nine points at Pacific Dec. 31...earned a season best five rebounds at Nevada Jan. 5...charted a season best five steals and a season best four assists against UC Irvine Dec. 28...her 37 assists on the season were the fourth highest on the squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Stockdale High School...coaches were Glenn Hager and Charles Stewart...named 2012 Bakersfield Californian Co-Area Player of the Year...averaged 16.7 points, 5.9 assists and 5.4 steals per game as a senior on the way to being named 2012 Southwest Yosmite League MVP...chosen first team All-League and All-Area in as a sophomore...team won three league championships and one Valley title...awarded AKA Miss Fashionetta, Delta Sigma Theta, Carlos Smith, Edith Sherman, and St. John Missionary Baptist Church scholarships.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 4, 1994...daughter of John and Michelle Shannon...a communications major.
