L.A. HARBOR COLLEGE: Steve Merriweather joins the Roadrunners with strong credentials and a shot at breaking into the starting lineup immediately…was named second-team All-Far West after a stellar year with the Seahawks…led team to a 17-4-5 record as a sophomore…team reached the quarterfinals of the California State JC playoffs…had a 0.76 goals against average with 14 shutouts…also named first-team all-conference.

REDONDO UNION HS: Merriweather played four years of varsity soccer at Redondo Union HS…was a three-time team MVP…also named to the all-Bay League team three times…team reached the CIF Southern Section playoffs two times.

PERSONAL: Major is sociology at CSUB…parents are Scott and Stephanie Merriweather.
