Biography

2017 (SENIOR): Played all over the pitch, spending time at forward, midfielder and defender...played in 16 matches and made 13 starts...scored a point in the first four matches of the season...finished the season with two goals and two assists for six points...scored in back-to-back matches against Pacific and Sacramento State...two goals came on three shots on goal.

2017 (R-SOPHOMORE): Started 16 games and appeared in all 18…played a total of 1,144 minutes...was second on the team in shots (28)…led the team in goals (6)...scored game-winning goals against Grand Canyon and UMKC…lead team in points (14)...led team in shots on goal (13)...third on the team in assists (2)…Honorable mention All-WAC.

2016 (R-FRESHMAN): Started 13-of-18 matches on the CSU Bakersfield backline...took two shots.

2015 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2015 season as a redshirt at CSU Bakersfield.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of South Kent School (Conn.)...coach was Owen Finberg...named All-Western New England and to the All-New England All-Star team during prep career.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 9, 1995...son of Andrew and Donna Mentel...a business management major.
