Biography

2017 (SENIOR): Started all 18 matches…played 1,559 minutes…shot 16 times...third on the team in shots on goal (9)…earned Academic All-WAC honors.

2016 (JUNIOR): Started nine of 13 appearances...took three shots...named Academic All-Conference for second year in a row.

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 11 matches, starting one in a defensive midfield role...selected Academic All-Conference.

2014 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in seven matches...took lone shot at Grand Canyon Nov. 2.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of West High School...coach was Brock Snider...named first team All-League as a junior and as a senior and earned second team Bakersfield Californian All-Area honors in 2013...led West in assists three times...played for the Cal South ODP program from 2011-13 and was part of the team that finished first in the 2013 national ODP championships...made the region IV ODP team in 2012 and was named one of the top 13 best players at the Interregionals...a member of the 2013-14 FRAM SC Surf Cup champions.
 
PERSONAL: Born Jan. 24, 1996...son of Jose and Nora Garcia...a political science major.
