L.A. HARBOR COLLEGE: Manny Guzman has the potential of making an immediate impact…led L.A. Harbor to a 17-4-5 record… reached the quarterfinals of the California State JC playoffs… scored 10 goals with 11 assists to be named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year.

WEST TORRANCE HS: Guzman played three seasons at West Torrance HS…was team captain and was named team MVP…was also a first-team All-Bay League pick…named CIF Southern Section Division II second team.

PERSONAL: Major is psychology at CSUB…born in Mexico…parents are Jesus and Melania Guzman.

COACH TOBIN SAYS: “Elegant midfield playmaker. Smooth with the ball and good work rate.”
