Biography
PRIOR TO CSUB: During her four-year tenure at Santa Clara University (2020-2023), Kat Georgiadis established herself as a key defensive player, appearing in 105 matches and accumulating 1,293 career digs, ranking her sixth all-time in program history. She excelled in her senior year (2023), leading the team with 324 digs and earning WCC Defensive Player of the Week honors, while surpassing 1,000 career digs and tying her career high with three aces in a match. Her junior year (2022) was highlighted by a career-high 31 digs in a match and a second-place finish in the WCC for digs per set. In her sophomore year (2021), she averaged 4.04 digs per set and recorded multiple 20+ dig matches. As a freshman (2020), she contributed 87 digs and eight aces in a shortened season. Academically, she was a three-time WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll Silver Honors recipient and earned Academic All-District honors in 2023.
