SHAFTER HS: Javier Barba comes to CSUB from Shafter HS where he played for former Roadrunner Jorge Maldonado… had a stellar career with the Generals where he scored 51 goals with 35 assists in his career…was named to The Bakersfield Californian’s All-Area team twice…two-time All-South Sequoia League selection…also played football for Shafter.

PERSONAL: Major is psychology at CSUB…was born in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico…parents are Jesus and Margarita Barba.
