Biography

2014 (R-SOPHOMORE): Played the final 10+ minutes against Sacramento State Sept. 28 and combined with Nicolas Clever for the 5-0 shutout...made one save.

2013 (R-FRESHMAN): A member of the Bakersfield program.

2012 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bakersfield program.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Independence High School...coach was A.J. Jacinto...selected Bakersfield Californian Southwest Yosemite League Goalkeeper of the Year and All-Area after making 100 saves and posting five shutouts as a senior...also played football at Independence and was a member of the SWYL champions...played for the Bakersfield Brigade and Roadrunners United club teams.
 
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 5, 1994...son of Hector and Elba Valdez...a criminal justice major.
