2005: Fabio Joaquim got his feet wet in NCAA collegiate soccer in 2005 in his first season with the Roadrunners…made 15 appearances with four starts…had two assists in 492 minutes played, which was the best minutes-to-assists ratio on the team…earned an assist against The Master’s College on Felipe Becerra’s goal in a 3-2 victory (08/27/05)…that match was also his first career NCAA collegiate start...also assisted Manny Garcia’s goal in CSUB’s 2-1 upset victory over No. 21 UC San Diego (10/12/05).

COLÉGIO SANTA CECILIA: Joaquim played one season of Brazilian collegiate soccer at Colégio Santa Cecilia in Santos prior to transferring to CSUB.

PERSONAL: Major is physical education and kinesiology at CSUB…parents are Regina Esteves and Reginaldo Joaquim.
