Biography

2013 (R-JUNIOR): Started 18-of-20 matches...tied with Joe Masumiya for second on the team in goals (5)...took a career high seven shots and had one assist against UMKC Oct. 27...second on the team in assists (3) and shots (46)...was third on the team in points (13).

2012 (R-SOPHOMORE): Scored first career goal against Cal State Fullerton Sept. 10...scored again against Sacramento State Sept. 14...scored for third time against Denver Oct. 26...posted a career high six shots against Fullerton...earned first career assist at Houston Baptist Oct. 19...posted an assist in the semifinals of the MPSF Tournament..started 14-of-18 appearances and taken 21 shots.

2011 (R-FRESHMAN): Took three shots against San Francisco Sept. 1...started matches against UC Riverside (Aug. 27) and San Francisco (Sept. 1)...a foot injury forced him to the sidelines until the final match of the regular season when he played against Seattle University...played in the MPSF Tournament finals against No. 1 New Mexico.

2010 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at CSUB.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Locke High School...played club soccer for the LA Galaxy's U-18 team as well as the LAFC's U-18 program.

PERSONAL: Born May 27, 1991...son of Rafael and Maria Velasquez...a business major.
