Kyle Gookins is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the CSUB men’s soccer team.

Gookins was a member of the Roadrunner squad from 2000-03, tallying 29 goals and nine assists during his career. His goal total puts him in a tie for third on CSUB’s all-time career list. Gookins was a first team all-conference selection in 2001 and 2003, and also earned second team National Soccer Coaches Association of America Far West Region honors those two seasons.

Gookins earned his bachelor degree in history and is currently working on a master’s degree in education at CSUB.
