EAST BAKERSFIELD HS: Chico Ruesga was a standout player at East Bakersfield High School, earning first team All-Southeast Yosemite League honors his senior year...also once named the Bakersfield Jockey Club High School Athlete of the Month...member of the Trojans’ football and track teams...played club soccer for the Bakersfield Gunners.

PERSONAL: Ruesga plans to major in business administration at CSUB...parents are Abel and Nora Ruesga...interests include weight lifting.

SIMON SAYS: “Strong running left-sided defender. Can attack down the flank with pace and has the ability to work the line for 90 minutes.”
