OAKTON COLLEGE: In Ryan Brown, Head Coach Keith Brown (no relation) believes he has found a versatile player with a high basketball I.Q. who is strong on both ends of the floor...after redshirting at Northern Illinois in 2006, he played just one season of juco ball under Steve Pratt at Oakton College but made the most of that season, averaging 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game...also shot 56 percent from the field and 71 percent from the line as a freshman...first team all?region and All?Skyway Conference in 2007...named to the all?tournament team at the NJCAA Division II national championships.

Personal: Brown is majoring in business administration at CSUB...earned a 3.39 grade point average at Oakton...was a 4.0 student at Crystal Lake High School.
