Biography
2018-19 (R-SENIOR): Started in all but one of 34 games…led team and ranked second in Western Athletic Conference and 94th in NCAA Division I in rebounding (8.1 per game)…pulled down 3.74 offensive boards per contest, sixth-best in NCAA Division I…ranked fourth in WAC with six double-doubles…paced team with 25 blocks…scored career-high 20 points to go with 13 rebounds at Idaho Dec. 8…posted 18 points and career-high 19 rebounds while drawing 12 fouls vs. UC Merced Dec. 4, just missing CSUB single-game rebounding record by two…had 13 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks in win over Seattle U Jan. 10…tallied 17 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks in CIT first-round victory at Cal State Fullerton Mar. 21…pulled down 10+ rebounds in five-straight games from Feb. 14 – Mar. 7 and 12 times on the season…came up one rebound short of CSUB’s Division I single-season record (276)…finished two-year CSUB career with 248 points, 374 rebounds, 33 blocks, 20 steals, and a .544 field goal percentage.
2017-18 (REDSHIRT): Competed in two games after attempting to return from injury, but sat out the rest of the season as a medical redshirt...Graduated on time with a degree in liberal studies.
2016-17 (JUNIOR): Part of CSUB team that reached school’s first National Invitational Tournament and became first No. 8 seed in NIT history to reach NIT semifinal…helped CSUB defense to be ranked in Top 15 in NCAA Division I in steals (286) and turnovers forced (16.6) per game and field goal percentage defense (37.2)...appeared in 28 games for the `Runners, starting 13 times...averaged 0.9 points and 3.5 rebounds a contest...posted season highs in points (8) and rebounds (12) Dec. 10 vs. Portland State...At Arizona Nov. 15, played season-high 33 minutes...Recorded two blocks in three separate games.
2015-16 (SOPHOMORE): Played 28 games for Panola CC...team went 24-9 during his sophomore season...averaged 5 points and 7 rebounds per contest...shot 65% from the field.
2014-15 (FRESHMAN): Played 21 games at Niagara where he had one start for the Purple Eagles...shot 56% from the field.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 11.5 points per game during his senior season at Philadelphia Electrical & Technology as he helped the Chargers advance to the Philadelphia Public School and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class AAA semifinals...Suber was named to the Daily News All-City Third Team and All-Public Second Team at the end of the season.
