L.A. Southwest College: After sitting out the 2008–09 season, Chris Smith will join the Roadrunners for his junior season in 2009–10…was one of the top scorers in the California as a junior college star, leading the South Coast Conference in scoring both seasons…averaged 26.2 points per game as a freshman and 18.0 ppg as a sophomore…knocked down 171 three–pointers in his juco career, including 103 in 31 games as a freshman…high games of 47 points as a freshman and 30 points as a sophomore.

Narbonne High School: Smith prepped at L.A.’s Narbonne High School, where he averaged 28 points while leading the Gauchos to a Marine League title in 2004.

Personal: Smith is majoring in liberal studies with a minor in business administration at CSUB…the oldest player on the Roadrunner roster this season, Chris will turn 24 the day CSUB hosts Longwood University (Jan. 9).
