2025-26 (SENIOR): Appeared in six games for the Roadrunners in his first season with Bakersfield... Scored a season-high 10 points at Fresno State on Nov. 25, shooting 5-of-7 from the field while adding six rebounds... Also grabbed six rebounds versus Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 22 while adding three points and two assists... Finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, and one block in 53 total minutes... Averaged 3.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per game while shooting 61.5% from the field.
PRIOR TO CSUB:Â Transferred to South Carolina State after spending two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he averaged 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game... Enters his final season of eligibility with the Roadrunners after two years at South Carolina State... In his first season with the Bulldogs he appeared in 32 games, starting in 13... Averaged 20.7 minutes, 4.1 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 0.8 steals, and 0.9 assists per game... In his second season at SC State, McCarty played in 26 games, making two starts for the Bulldogs... Averaged 18 minutes, 4.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, 0.7 steals, and 0.6 assists per game... Has a career high 15 points which came in a win over Coppin State on February 5, 2024... Shot 5-6 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line, while recording six rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL: A Biloxi High School graduate... Averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals in his senior season... Was selected to play in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game.
