Biography

2012-13 (R-JUNIOR): Despite being only 6-1, led team in rebounding at 5.3 per game...second on the team in scoring with a 12.1 points per game avearge...third on the squad in made three point field goals (26)...third on team in field goal shooting at 43.1% (131-304)...scored a season high 24 points against Westmont Nov. 20...posted double-digit scoring performances in 21-of-30 appearances...started 23 times.

2011-12: Sat out the season as a redshirt at CSU Bakersfield after entering the program from Lipscomb...1-of-5 CSU Bakersfield student-athletes which represented the Roadrunners at the 2012 NCAA Career in Sports Forum which was held in San Francisco, Calif.

2010-11 (R-FRESHMAN): Averaged 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for NCAA Division I Lipscomb…played in all 30 games averaging 17.9 minutes per game and started seven contests…shot 44.8 percent from the field, the best among Lipscomb guards, and shot 35.7 percent from the 3-point line…led Lipscomb in scoring three times and in rebounding three times…scored in double figures six times…Had best game of season at UT Martin (Nov. 27) when he scored 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting with six rebounds in 25 minutes of action.

2009-10 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt at Lipscomb.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 24 points and 11 rebounds for Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, Ga….named first team All-Region and All-Douglas County his senior…set the single-game school record with 41 points…a two year starter…team captain his senior year…member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes…coached by Jim Gaylor…played AAU for Team Impact.

PERSONAL:  Born July 21, 1991...son of Rod and Bridgett Barnes…father is the head men’s basketball coach at Bakersfield…a business management major.
