2010 (SOPHOMORE): Started 22-of-23 appearances either in the outfield or as
the designated hitter...hit lone home run of the season and drove in three runs
on opening day (Feb. 19) against Air Force...went 3-for-6 with two doubles
against St. Mary's (Feb. 26)...was 2-for-5 with two RBI's against Northern
Illinois Mar. 6...charted two hits (2-of-4) with three RBI's, and two runs scored
against Nevada Mar. 12...had multiple hit games against San Jose State (Mar. 19),
Washington State (game two on Mar. 27) and Stony Brook (Mar. 31)...recorded three
RBI's against Stony Brook...ended season by hitting .266 with 16 RBI's...stole seven
bases in 10 attempts...scored 12 runs...posted six doubles and one triple.
2009 (FRESHMAN): Earned the starting nod in right field for CSUB...team leader with 36
runs and fourth in hits with 53, including 12 doubles, one triple and four home
runs...easily led the team with 16 stolen bases on 20 attempts...hit his first
collegiate home run in a 10-8 loss to Utah (Feb. 28)...had a 4-for-4 performance
against San Jose State (Mar. 29)...held a 10-game hit streak from Mar. 23
through Apr. 3...went 4-for-10 with two doubles, one triple and one home run in
the Nebraska series (May 8-10).
CORONADO HIGH SCHOOL: An outfielder at Coronado High School, McIntyre was
listed as a 2007 Teamonebaseball.com West Top 20 prospect...hit at a .452 average
in 2008...also had 14 doubles, five triples and six home runs...led Coronado
High to a fourth place finish in Nevada's Sunrise Division...was the Cougars
team MVP in 2006...hit .574 his sophomore season...in the summer of 2007, led his
team to a state runner-up finish in the Nevada Legion Baseball League...also
played varsity football for Coronado High.
SUMMER LEAGUE: McIntyre played for the Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks in
the Alaska Baseball League in 2009...hit .242 with 36 hits including five
doubles, two triples and one home run in 45 games...also had eight stolen
bases...hit .490 while playing for the Coronado Legion in 2008.
