2025 (JUNIOR): Started in 51 of 53 appearances…Led team with 35 walks, which is third-most in a single-season in CSUB history…Put together a 26-game Reached Base Safely streak, tied for ninth-longest in program history…Batted .253 with a .389 OBP, 34 runs, 10 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, and 24 RBI…Went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI at UC Santa Barbara (May 17)…Went 2-for-5 with a home run and 2 RBI vs. No. 11 UC Irvine (May 9)…Went 6-for-10 during CSUN series (Mar. 21-23).

2025 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 53 games, starting 51 times during his sophomore season at CSUB…. Ranked first on the team in run(34) and walks (35)…. Ranking in the top five on the team in At Bats (190), hits(48), doubles (10), home runs (2), and RBI (24)….Tied for third all time for CSUB in a single season for walks and ninth for reached base streak (26).
 
2024 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 33 games, starting 10 times including six starts at third base…Batted .271 with 6 RBI, 9 runs, 4 doubles, 6 walks, and 6 strikeouts…Tallied four 2-hit games…Recorded 2 hits, 3 walks, and 3 RBI vs. Pepperdine Mar. 26.

HIGH SCHOOL: Alvarez was homeschooled, although played with EM Speed and Power in Rancho Cucamonga in the Miramonte League… Coached by Wallace Gonzales… Earned Preseason All-Region in 2023 and San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area Team… Won the CIF Championship and State Championship Runner-Up.

PERSONAL: An electrical engineering major who hopes to become an engineer after his time at CSUB.
