Biography

2018 (FRESHMAN): Made six relief appearances and produced a 7.20 ERA in 5.0 innings pitched...pitched season-long outing in career debut on February 17 versus UC Davis...had three straight appearances without allowing a run in early May...struck out first batter against Loyola Marymount on May 8.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Mira Mesa HS in San Diego, Calif. for head coach Jason Fowler...was 4-3 with a 1.67 ERA on the mound in his senior season...made nine starts, also earned three saves out of the bullpen.

PERSONAL: Born October 26, 1999..son of Mike Bovee and Debby Valletta...criminal justice major.
