2012-13 (JUNIOR): Came back healthy and played a major role defending the net for CSUB after an elbow injury cut her sophomore season short...led the 'Runners in blocks with 107 total including 96 assisted blocks and 11 solo for an average of 0.96 blocks per set...finished fifth on the team in kills with 112 for an average of 1.02 per set...also tied for second-best on the team with 24 service aces...chipped in 39 digs and three assists...CSUB SAND VOLLEYBALL: Saw action primarily at No. 4 doubles with partner Danika Youngblood...concluded season with a 6-9 record.
2011 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 18 matches (44 sets) and rose up as a leading blocker in her first season as a Roadrunner before an elbow injury sidelined her for the final four matches of the season…finished fourth in total blocks for CSUB with 32 (two solo, 30 assisted)...tallied 22 kills, nine digs, two aces and one assist…posted a season-high eight blocks (one solo, seven assisted) against Maryland-Eastern Shore (Oct. 1)…recorded a season-best six kills twice with six against North Carolina Central (Sept. 30) and Hampton (Oct. 1)…also put up season-high totals with three digs against UMES (Oct. 1) and two aces against N.C. Central (Sept. 30).
2010 (FRESHMAN): A member of the volleyball team at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario...transfered to CSUB after WLU dropped volleyball.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Immaculata High School...coach was Rachelle Berthelot...named team MVP from 2006-10...team won Division Championships in 2009-10...played for the Ottawa Kangaroos Volleyball Club from 2003-08...was the team captain of the Ottawa Fusion Volleyball Club from 2009-10...earned Ontario Volleyball Associate Award of Excellence in 2009.
PERSONAL: Born Apr. 12, 1992...daughter of Jim and Mary Bowen...a sociology major.
