2015 (SENIOR): Became the third CSUB player to play in at least 200 career games when he started the first game of the Sacramento State series...the other Roadrunners to see action in at least 200 games are Oscar Sanay (227, 2011-14) and Kevin Younger (207, 2010-13)...has played in 226 games...his 220 career starts are the most in school history, breaking Sanay’s previous mark of 218...scored 147 career runs, trailing Sanay who had 155 in his career...second in career at-bats (795) behind Sanay (852) as well...reset the school record for career walks (101), career stolen bases (40), career sac hits (25), and times hit by a pitch in a career (48)...hit .267 with one home run and 30 RBI's.

2014 (JUNIOR): Chosen second team All-Conference...reset school record with 17 stolen bases...hit .280 with 11 RBI’s...committed two errors in 127 chances.

2013 (SOPHOMORE): 1-of-5 players to reset the school record for most appearances in a season with 59...started 56 times...led team in stolen bases (9-12)...hit .275 with 17 RBI’s...third on the team in putouts with 172.

2012 (FRESHMAN): Reset school record for most walks in a season with 36...led team in walks, triples (5), and on-base percentage (.388)...second on squad in runs scored (31)...hit .228 with eight RBI’s...SUMMER LEAGUE: Played for the Peninsula Oilers in the Alaska Baseball League...hit .255 with four RBI’s...stole a team leading 13 bases.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Chaparral High School...coach was Sam Messina...hit .457 with 14 doubles and five triples as a senior...holds school record for most hit by pitches in a season with 16...as a senior in football, Hein earned second team All-State, All-City, and All-Region honors.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 2, 1992 ...son of Brian and Kelly Hein...a psychology major.
