2009:
JJ Henry appeared in 32 games for CSUB...worked his way into the starting lineup as the season progressed, earning 14 starts (10 at third and four in right field)...first hit of the season was an RBI-single against No. 12 Cal Poly (3/23/09)...had a two-RBI double at San Jose State (3/29/09)...scored the game-winning run on Brandon Boren’s walk-off single against Fresno State (4/8/09)...went 2-for-4 with one run against Nevada (4/25/09) for his first multi-hit game of the season...went 4-for-10 with four runs and two RBIs in three games against Nebraska (5/8-10/09)...first three hit game of the season was in CSUB’s 5-2 win over UC Davis (5/21/09)...went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run and RBI in that game...finished the season tied for the second highest batting average (.290).

PHOENIX COLLEGE
Henry played third base for the Phoenix College Bears, who won the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference title and the National Junior College Athletic Association Region I Division 2 championship in 2008...led the team in hitting his freshman year (.302)...also tallied 45 hits, including six doubles, and 15 RBIs that season...in 2008, he held a .250 average...tallied 40 hits, including six doubles and two triples...drove in 19 runs.

CHERRY CREEK HIGH SCHOOL
Henry prepped at Cherry Creek High School where he played baseball for Head Coach Marc Johnson...helped the Bruins to the Centennial League title as a senior...also played two years of football.

Henry is majoring in finance at CSUB...parents are John and Traci Henry...grandfather was a tight end for Wisconsin when the Badgers won the Rose Bowl in 1959...born June 20, 1988, in Denver, Colo.
