2012 (JUNIOR): Named CollegeSportsMadness.com Independent Pitcher of the Year...also named first team All-Independent by College SportsMadness.com...went 6-5 with a team leading 2.67 ERA...tied for the team lead in victories with Taylor Aikenhead and Scott Brattvet...the team leader in strikouts (69) and innings pitched (107.1)...struck out 12 batters against Santa Clara Apr. 6, the second most in a game by a CSUB pitcher...ended the regular season tied for 20th in Division I with Aikenhead in complete games with five...was 28th in Division I in games started (15) and 119th in earned run average.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Earned MVP honors of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Tournament after pitching San Joaquin Delta College to its first CCCAA Championship since 1959...tossed a complete game seven-hitter in the championship game after pitching only five innings all season...picked four runners off in the championship game...started 36-of-40 games, hitting .238 with one home run and 22 RBI’s.

2010 (FRESHMAN): Third on the team in hitting (.308) for San Joaquin Delta College...posted 14 RBI’s and seven stolen bases.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Oak Ridge High School...coach was Todd Melton...A two-time All-Sierra Valley Conference and two-time All-Metro selection.

PERSONAL: Born May 15, 1991...son of Jeff and Carolyn McKenzie...a communications major with an emphasis on digital media
