2017 (JUNIOR): Chosen second team All-Conference...finished regular season third in the WAC and 26th in Division I in hitting (.372)...was among the top 50 in Division In on-base percentage (.456)...had a 16-game hitting streak at one point, the sixth longest in school history...finished season with 32 RBI’s and 42 runs scored...charted 77 hits, the third most on the team.
2016 (SOPHOMORE): Started all 36 games for LA Valley College as a sophomore, leading the team in hitting (.379), hits (50), RBI’s (25), triples (3), and slugging percentage...earned first team All-Conference and a CCCAA gold glove award...SUMMER LEAGUE: Hit .294 with two home runs and 14 RBI’s New Bedford Bay Sox of the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2016...played in the NECBL All-Star game for the South squad...selected second team All-NECBL.
2015 (FRESHMAN): Named first team All-Conference for LA Valley College and was awarded a league gold glove.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Frazier Mountain High School...coach was father Dan Penner...selected first team All-Conference, league MVP, and All-CIF as a senior...team won 2013 league championship...played football, basketball, and golf for Fraizer Mountain High School.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 26, 1994...son of Dan and Michelle Penner...a business major...father played baseball at the University of Hawai’i and was selected twice in the MLB Draft.
