Gender Equity

One of the NCAA’s principles of conduct for intercollegiate athletics focuses on gender equity.  The office of inclusion is committed to supporting the membership as it strives to comply with federal and state laws regarding gender equity, to adopt legislation that augments gender equity and to establish an environment that is free of gender bias.
Student-Athlete Activism

Activism is the practice of taking intentional action to bring about social, political, economic or environmental change. It can take many forms but often relies on a strategic, organized and action-oriented approach to address persistent systemic issues in society.
Student-Athletes with Disabilties

As one of its core values, the NCAA believes in and is committed to an inclusive culture that fosters equitable participation for student-athletes and career opportunities for coaches and administrators from diverse backgrounds. In further recognizing and acting upon this value, the NCAA is increasing efforts to provide opportunities to student-athletes with education-impacting and physical disabilities.
LGBTQ

The office of inclusion is committed to providing education and resources that support LGBTQ students and the coaches and administrators who teach and lead them in athletics departments across the country.
Race & Ethnicity

The NCAA office of inclusion aims to heighten awareness of racial/ethnic minorities' experiences across the landscape of intercollegiate athletics and support athletic communities in fostering inclusive environments.
