The Roadrunners accepted an invitation to the 2019 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT), their third postseason appearance in the last four seasons. CSU Bakersfield defeated Cal State Fullerton in the Riley Wallace Classic, Mar. 21, and Southern Utah on Mar. 25 to advance to the CIT Quarterfinals. CSUB then traveled to Green Bay, Wisc. to take on the Green Bay Phoenix on Friday, Mar. 29, in the CIT Quarterfinals. The `Runners fell to the Phoenix, 80-65, ending their season with an 18-16 overall record, the third-most single-season wins in Bakersfield's Division I history.

NCAA Division I Postseason History
The 2018-19 season marks the second time CSU Bakersfield will be playing in the CIT and the third postseason appearance in the last four seasons (2016 NCAA, 2017 NIT, 2019 CIT). Since the Roadrunners became NCAA Division I postseason eligible in 2010-11, they have made four postseason appearances including a 2011-12 appearance in the CIT. Bakersfield's all-time postseason record is 4-3.
