Biography
High School: One newcomer who should come in flying high this season is freshman guard Ke’Airra Jones, the reigning Mississippi state prep high jump champion...Jones played her high school ball at Natchez High where she earned team MVP, all?district and all?state honors for the Bulldogs...was offered a track scholarship to Mississippi State after setting the state high jump record at 5?10 (a mark which, by the way, would rank No. 2 all?time at CSUB)...was the No. 4 ranked prep high jumper in the USA for 2006?07...also played softball at NHS.
Personal: Jones was an excellent student in high school and earned her team’s highest GPA award...will major in business administration at CSUB...answers to the nicknames Mississippi, Lit Bit and KeeKee.
