Oxnard College: With rebounding perhaps the most glaring weakness on Roadrunner stat sheet the past two seasons, the coaching staff addresses that area emphatically with the addition of Naomi Johnson…Johnson was the leading junior college rebounder in California in 2005 at Oxnard College, where she averaged 15.3 rebounds per game with a high game of 29 boards…also finished among the state leaders in scoring (15.3 ppg) and field goal percentage (.457)…averaged 14.7 rpg (with a high of 26) to finish third on the state rebounding table as a freshman in 2004…also averaged 16.5 ppg as a freshman to finish 24th in California…earned All–Western State Conference honors both seasons.

High School: Johnson played three seasons of varsity ball at Oxnard’s Channel Islands High School…earned first team All–Pacific View League honors as a senior…also ran track for the Raiders.

Personal: Johnson is an education major at CSUB…plans to teach at the elementary school level.
