Biography
2010: Shawnee Carter appeared in 17 contests off the bench for the Roadrunners...averaged 0.9 points and 0.9 rebounds per game...scored eight points in the win over Miami (Ohio) (12–22–09)...grabbed four rebounds against Delaware State (12–19–00)...scored in back-to-back games and blocked two shots against Miami (Fla.) (11–15–09) and Hawaii (11–21–09).
2009: Carter appeared in 17 contests for the Roadrunners as a sophomore...scored eight points on 4–for–7 shooting with one block against Seattle University (1–9–09) in just eight minutes...played a season–high 14 minutes against Big 12 member Oklahoma (12–12–08)...grabbed three rebounds against Long Beach State (1–13–09), two coming on the offensive end of the court, in 13 minutes of action.
2008: Carter started her first collegiate game against San Diego (11–9–07)…appeared in 25 contests during the season, averaging 10.1 minutes per game…pulled down a season–best six rebounds at Cal State Northridge (12–19–07)…played 19 minutes and scored nine points with four rebounds against The Master’s College (12–3–07)…dropped nine points on 4–for–6 shooting against Boise State (11–23–07).
Burroughs HS: Carter had a solid prep career at Burroughs High School in Burbank…earned second team All–Pacific League honors as a senior when she finished No. 2 in the league in blocks at 1.8 bpg…finished eighth in the league in scoring (9.1 ppg) and seventh in rebounding (6.0 rpg).
Personal: Carter is a psychology major at CSUB.
