2008: As a true freshman, Maritza Rumbo started 14 games for the Roadrunners while appearing in all 19 contests in the midfield...scored CSUB’s lone goal in a tie against Saint Mary’s (9/19/08)...assisted on Sarina Coutin’s goal against Idaho (8/22/08), the first Roadrunner goal of the season...played 1,030 minutes, the fifth most among the freshman class...named to the UC Irvine all-tournament team.

Katella HS: Rumbo was a two time All?Empire League performer at Katella HS...was voted team MVP as a sophomore and junior...earned second team all?league honors as a sophomore...named a scholar?athlete as freshman.

Personal: Rumbo will major in accounting at CSUB...hobbies include dancing.
