Denise Hernandez was one of just nine players to appear in all 19 Roadrunner contests in 2009...made three starts...played 666 minutes...led the team with two shots at Fresno State (9-13-09) and three shots against San Jose State (10-25-09)...totalled six shots, two coming on goal.
FRESNO CITY COLLEGE
Hernandez was named an NSCAA second team All–America performer at Fresno City College in 2008 after scoring 15 goals with nine assists...named the team’s Top Offensive Player and helped FCC to back–to–back Central Valley Conference Championships...earned first team all–conference honors as a sophomore.
TULARE WESTERN HS
Hernandez was a three–sport standout athlete at Tulare Western HS, playing soccer, volleyball and softball...named first team All–East Yosemite League and earned team MVP honors three times...the Mustangs won the CIF Central Section Division II Championships her senior season.

Hernandez is a nursing major at CSUB...parents are Debra and Danny Hernandez.
